Research interests
The study of adenosine deaminase enzyme-ligand complexes with different adenosine analogs using computational chemistry methods to find new adenosine analogs with potential chemotherapeutic properties. Calculations of mechanisms of organic reactions involving various imidazole and triazole derivatives. Forecasting of physico-chemical and biological properties of newly synthesized substances.
Research results
The scheme of acceptance of adenosine and its various analogues in the active site of the enzyme adenosine deaminase. Correlations between the calculated physical-chemical characteristics and reactivity of a series of N,N'-acylbisazoles and azolides of alkyl- and arylsulfonic acids.
