Students - applying for Russian language course, bachelor, specialist or master program.
Step 1. Sending the documents
You should send by e-mail the following documents until July, 10 2015:
- The completed application form;
- The copy of the international passport pages (those with the photo, date and place of birth etc.);
- The scan copy of documents confirming your previous education (secondary school/high school certificate, master or bachelor degree diploma): original legalized (by Russian Federation embassy) version and translated into Russian language.
Please PAY ATTENTION that by your arrival to the University both your Certificate/Diploma and Transcript should be LEGALIZED. Legalization is the procedure of academic documents approval in the Ministry of International Affairs in the country of your graduation and after that in the Russian Consulate - in both these organizations they should put a stamp on the back side of your documents or on their copies; in different countries there are different rules.

Step 2. Admissions Procedure
1.1. If you are applying for Russian language program, you will get a contract until August, 1 2015.
1.2. When the student agrees with the terms of the contract, he should send the signed copy of the contract to the admission@ssau.ru.
1.3 If you are applying for bachelor or specialist programs, you should provide the following documents to admission office in the period from June, 19 to July, 10 2015 and for master program in the period from June, 19 to August, 10 2015:
- original passport;
- original migration card;
- original academic documents required for the program you were admitted to (the documents should be legalized in the Ministry of International Affairs of the country of citizenship);
- 12 photos 3*4 cm.
2. Entrance Exam will be held in the period July,11 – July, 24 (For Bachelor and Specialist degree programs), and in the period August, 11 – August, 18 (For Master degree program).
The preliminary schedule of the exams will be available after October, 1.
!It is obligatory to pass the entrance exams for all international students applying for bachelor’s and master’s programs!
3. Students having passed the exams should sign the contract at the International department until August,7.
4. Tuition fees for the first semester must be paid within 5 days after the contract is signed.
Successful applicants will be sent an Invitation (it will take at least 30 working days for Russian Migration Service to make an invitation) Letter which will be required for obtaining a student visa in the nearest Consulate of Russian Federation.
If you informed the International department in time, you will be provided with accommodation in the University hostel immediately upon arrival.
On the day of your arrival or the next day (if not week-ends) you should come to the International department with the following documents:
- original passport;
- original migration card;
- original academic documents required for the program you were admitted to (the documents should be legalized in the Ministry of International Affairs of the country of citizenship);
- 12 photos 3*4 cm
! Please PAY ATTENTION that all the foreign students arriving to Russia must bring the documents for registration to the International department within 2 days after crossing the border of Russian Federation. The penalty for those who are late with registration varies from paying a fine up to deportation from Russia.
Step 3. Receiving the invitation
There are 2 ways how you can receive your invitation:
- you or someone of your acquaintances come to the International department of SSAU and take the invitation;
- we send the invitation by Express-mail (choosing this variant you should provide International department of SSAU with your full home address and contact telephone number). You will receive the invitation within a week.
! Invitation is NOT enough to enter Russia. It is necessary to make the visa at the Russian Federation Consulate / Embassy.
Step 4. Arrival to the university
In the customs zone you must fill in the migration card and after the customs officer puts a stamp on it you must KEEP IT till your departure from Russia.
