We invite all the students, PhD students and young scientists of your organization to participate in the 3rd International School and Conference 'Saint Petersburg OPEN 2016' on Optoelectronics, Photonics, Engineering and Nanotechnology, chaired by academician Zhores I. Alferov, the Nobel prize winner in physics (2000), vice-president of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Abstract submission is opened till February 21, 2016.

There is no registration fee. Each submitted paper is possible to be published in the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series, cited in the major academic databases, including the Web of Knowledge. The BEST 25 papers will be published for FREE. The authors of ALL other accepted papers will be charged at a discount price. The final publication fee in rubles depends on the currency exchange rate (GBP/RUB).

This year we are proud to announce that the conference will be supported by the Russian Science Foundation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the Skolkovo Foundation, the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) and The Optical Society (OSA).

The Conference will be hosted by Saint Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St Petersburg Academic University) and will take place on March 28 - 30, 2016 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The topics to be presented at the conference, meet the key field of contemporary Physics of Semiconductors, Optics, Photonics, Opto- and Nanoelectronics, Spintronics, Electro- and Magnetooptics and Nanobiotechnology. The invited speakers will report on their up-to-date achievements at the first part of the Conference. Within the scope of the second part, the young participants will make poster presentations.

We would greatly appreciate, if you could provide your organizations with the Conference information (the announcement is enclosed) and also inform your colleagues, young scientists, who is likely to hold an interest in participating in the Conference.
