From February 27 to March 4, 2016 the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences will conduct XVII Scientific School 'Nonlinear Waves - 2016', which will address the following issues:

 Modern problems of the theory of nonlinear oscillations and waves
 Nonlinear processes in geophysics
 Astrophysics and cosmology
 The physics of extreme light fields and high-powered lasers
 Nonlinear processes in neurosystems
 Quantum systems and condensed matters

The School 'Nonlinear Waves - 2016' will take place in the health resort 'Avtomobilist' on Borskiy District of Nizhny Novgorod Region, where leisure is expected in addition to the work program.
Applications must be submitted before December 15 2015.
