He was particularly interested in the process of unification of Samara State Aerospace University and Samara State University.
Speaking on SSAU activities in the field of space research and instrument engineering, Mr. Berghorn noted that his organization is ready to give grants to German students for studying in Samara. “Our students are very interested not only in Bachelor’s or Master’s program, but also in such forms of educational process organization as summer schools”, - said Berghorn.
Currently SSAU cooperates with German universities in a number of areas.
For example, a project on creation of nanosatellites in the University is being conducted in collaboration with Technical University of Berlin. The Engineering and Technology Faculty of the University cooperates with the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology on development of new materials and Institute of Engine Building and Power Plants conducts summer schools on engine building for the students of the University of Stuttgart.
