SSAU presented its educational programs at the exhibition AULA-2015

The International Educational Exhibition AULA-2015 was held in Madrid from the 4th to the 8th of March.
The event was attended by the universities of Spain, Russia (from the Project 5-100), Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Samara State Aerospace University named after academician S. P. Korolev was represented at the exhibition by Ilya Kudryavtsev, Dean of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Olga Klenkina, Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Systems and Law.
They told Spanish pupils and undergraduate students about educational programs of SSAU, primarily focusing on the master's program in English.
"The exhibition was aimed at Spanish universities, and its task was helping pupils to choose the university to enter, - said Ilya Aleksandrovich. - Our "shot" in the Master’s program had an effect, but not very big, because most of the guys were passing through: the children were aimed at Bachelor’s program in the first place, and secondly, on the Bachelor’s program of Humanities, Economic and Health".
According to him, very few were interested in aerospace profession profile; Spanish students showed a little more interest to supercomputing and biotechnology.
"It is worth noting that technical specialties are not very popular even in Madrid universities, and a number of leading technical universities in Spain was not represented at the exhibition at all," - said Ilya Kudryavtsev.
Within the framework of the exhibition SSAU representatives held several meetings with the delegations of the Spanish and British universities on the subject of organization of double diplopas, academic exchanges.
Universidad ALFONSO X EL SABIO expressed interest in cooperation in the field of IT, aerospace engineering; University of East London - in the field of biotechnology; Universidad de Navarra - in the field of biotechnology and IT; Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria – in the field of biotechnology, IT and telecommunications; Universidad de Salamanca - in the field of mechanics, IT, electronics and biotechnology; Universidad Rey Juan Carlos - in the field of materials science; Universidad Carlos III de Madrid – in the field of IT and aerospace engineering.
During the talk with the representatives of Grupo 9 unversidades it became clear that a wide range of interactions is possible. Three universities - University of Kent, University College Birmingham, Goldsmiths University of London - have expressed an interest in joint researches in the field of medical technology.
The meeting with representatives of the company «A + CAPEC» opens up broad prospects for interaction with universities in Australia and New Zealand.
The Company «CV & A Consulting» is engaged in development and implementation of e-learning technologies. By means of «MasterMania» it’s possible to attract applicants for the Master's programs. The Company UTAD expressed interested in cooperation in the field of IT-technologies, IUCT - in joint programs for Masters and PhDs, as well as organization of internships.
