Summer School of Innovation Management, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management finished its work in SSAU. During the week 15 students from seven countries prepared their projects for commercialization of new technologies developed in Samara State Aerospace University.
The School participants worked with SSAU researches in robotics, additive technologies, biophotonics and nanosatellites. Also, the participants were trained in four areas: project management, intellectual property protection, innovative products marketing and financial management.
Mikhail Poruchikov, Senior Lecturer of SSAU Department of Mathematical Methods in Economics, noted that the Summer School program has been very intense. ”The students of both economic and engineering specialties participated in the School work. The young people worked on their projects , took park in intensive training and visited various excursions. We did not focus on the technical aspect, but paid attention to finance, marketing and economics. All students successfully defended their graduation works,”- he said.

- I was surprised that SSAU was much larger in scale than I expected. I would like to mention spacious classrooms and well-equipped laboratories. Besides, I'm impressed by the city of Samara - its beauty and atmosphere. Since my profession is more related to engineering, this week has been filled with new and unusual things for me. Here in SSAU, I saw 3D-printer that works with metal, everybody in our country talk about it, but I have never seen it there. This device is very important for aircraft and rocket engineering.

- Everything different here for me. The situation in SSAU is unusual but pleasant, as well as in the city itself. I really liked the local nature, architecture and food. SSAU lecturers are kind and helpful, and the lectures were extremely interesting. In China there is no such close interaction between students and teachers, and it was nice to see it here.
