The international conference and the youth school «Information Technology and Nanotechnology 2015» have finished in SSAU.
The organizing committee received over two hundred reports on the five conference sections: mathematical modelling, image processing and geo-informatics, computer-based optics and nanophotonics, data mining (BigData) and poster reports sections.
The best reports presented at the conference will be published in national and international journals indexed by Scopus databases. A large part of the reports are presented in English.
The problems of fundamental and applied researches, computer modelling, development and practical implementation of IT systems components as well as activation of scientific and practical activities of the researchers were discussed at the plenary and breakout sessions.
Within the framework of the plenary session of the conference the following persons gave lectures: Vitaliy Konov, Director of the Centre of Scientific Research of the General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Konstantin Rudakov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Dorodnicyn Computing Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Semen Piyavskiy, Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering; Viktor Sverdlov, Professor of Vienna University of Technology (Austria); Mau Jochen, Professor at Heinrich Heine University (Germany); Sergei Sazhin, Professor of the University of Brighton (UK); Dr. Mukesh Singh Boori, JECRC University (India).
An important component part of the conference ITNT-2015 was the conduction of the Youth School, aimed at studying of the modern information technology and the possibilities of its practical application for solving urgent problems of aviation, aerospace and other high-tech industries by the young researchers.
«Over the three days of the conference, we heard about the latest trends in the advanced fields of science such as carbon photonics, optical information processing, big data mining (BigData), bioinformatics», - said Aleksandr Kupriyanov, Professor of the Department of Technical Cybernetics, member of the Conference organizing committee.
He also noted that the main task of the youth school was the experiences exchange between the young scientists and graduate students of Russia as well as the outstanding domestic and foreign scientists.
«And we have honourably fulfil this task. The young scientists and students were given the unique opportunity to learn about the latest research findings and use it in their further professional training», - noted Aleksandr Kupriyanov. - Also, we held a contest of the young scientists’ reports and awarded the winners with diplomas and cash prizes».
