Developing the theme of mutually beneficial cooperation and implementation of modern technologies in the production, Evgeniy Shakhmatov suggested specialists Schneider Electric to get acquainted with SSAU advanced developments. For example, technology of magnetic-impulse metal working (MIMW). They allow producing parts of complex shapes that cannot be obtained by conventional methods.
During several decades SSAU scientists are engaged not only in research in this direction, but also in production of the relevant industrial equipment. Currently, the University cooperates not only with domestic enterprises, but also with foreign corporations.

Thus in summer 2014 SSAU was visited by the delegation of Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre (Pittsburgh, USA). American experts became interested in SSAU development of NIL-41 in the field of magnetic-impulse technologies. International contracts for supply of technologies and equipment on almost half a million USD have been made during the visit.

At the same time a cooperation agreement has been made with Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre in educational directions. Currently six SSAU students and young scientists attend special courses and prepare to defend Master's dissertation in the areas selected by Alcoa in magnetic-impulse metal working. Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre undertake to pay tuition fees and scholarships for training of these specialists. Two best students in this group will be trained and will have the opportunity for further employment in Alcoa Scientific and Technical Centre in Pittsburgh.
