Delegation from ALCOA Research Centre (Pittsburgh, USA) visited SSAU

Delegation of the Scientific and Technical Centre Alcoa, (Pittsburgh, USA) was visiting SSAU from June 3 to June 6. American experts from the technical centre were interested in development of NIL-41 in the field of magnetic pulse technologies. International contracts were concluded almost on half a million dollars during the visit.
Representatives of the Scientific and Technical Centre Robert E. Dick and Michael Gershenzon conducted the work, met with students, get acquainted with the results of exploratory experiments. The way for long-term cooperation with one of the leading research companies in the USA - Technical Centre Alcoa in the field technical and educational areas has been opened.



Therefore, a group of 6 students study special courses related to technology of magnetic pulse metal working for a few months and learn English. the Scientific and Technical Centre Alcoa pays tuition fees for these professionals, as well as scholarships for students. Master's thesis topics will be the issues that are important to the Scientific and Technical Centre Alcoa. Two students from this group will be trained in Pittsburgh.
