The cab has a single-seat a free suspension. The test-subject is placed into the cab through the lateral hatch. There is an arc with bulbs and a video camera in front of the test-subject's face. It is possible to verify an eye acuity and time of response (reaction). The test-subject can control the G-value and the descent capsule with the help of a descent control stick. The test-subject's status monitoring is carried out by the group of qualified doctors with the help of the telemetry information (ECG, pneumogram, body temperature etc.), as well as two-way voice link and video information.

The two-seat cab is fixed in a gimbal suspension and has 3 degrees of freedom. Due to such a suspension the G-load vector be oriented in any direction.

The test-subject (operator) is placed in the cab through a telescoping platform. Medical doctors apply medical sensors on his/her body, and then put him/her in a seat, which is installed on a special mount. The "switch-off" stick is to be jammed by the operator in his/her hand. If during rotation the operator feels badly, the hand will release, and the centrifuge will stop.

There is a video camera and a microphone installed in front of the operator's face, which allows the doctors to permanently observe the operator during the experiment and to maintain a two-way communication. It is possible to do rotation of two test-subjects at a time. We can offer you several typical profiles.

Air Force Pilots Tests:
  • "Head-to-Pelvis" direction, 3 G, peak for 30 seconds;
  • "Head-to-Pelvis" direction, 5 G, peak for 30 seconds;
  • "Head-to-Pelvis" direction, 6 G, peak for 30 seconds.
  • Tests for cosmonauts:

  • "Chest-to-Spine" direction, 4 G, peak for 40 seconds;
  • "Chest-to-Spine" direction, 8 G, peak for 40 seconds;
  • Typical profile "Insertion of the space vehicle into the Earth orbit".
  • The "Soyuz" rocket launcher profile of insertion in the Earth orbit:

    График выведения ракетоносителя

  • Typical "descent" profile;
  • Typical profile, which is called "dangling" or "turbulent weather", when using the "Tchibis" LBNP suit.
  • Upon the customer's request the "Insertion" and "Descent" profiles can be combined and carried out, or any other profile of G-load, not exceeding the maximum 6 G value.
