The fourth issue of the annual report of the project 'Atlas of Breeding Birds of European Russia' includes 96 reports made for squares of the 50 × 50 km grid. Lists of breeding, probably breeding and possibly breeding bird species as well as data on their status and estimation of the abundance (if possible) are provided. Some reports are illustrated with pictures of typical landscapes and rare birds.
The reports are prefaced by an article which summarizes the results of a long-term monitoring of the population dynamics of woodland birds in the Kivach Nature Reserve.
