The following topics are subject to discussion at the Workshop:
- Scientific-Historical aspects of the alternative evolutionary theories and contributions discussing the "growth and fall" of the non-Darwinian theories as well as papers analysing their impact on the evolutionary biology in general and on the special biological fields.
- Contemporary Darwinism and the today's alternative theories. The important methodological issue is, in this context, is what sort of statements should the Darwinian evolutionary theory reject to be truly Darwinian. The scientific perspectives of the contemporary alternatives to the STE. Some representatives of the contemporary alternative schools will represent their recent research.
- Social-philosophical and cultural impacts of the evolutionary theory.
