FAST FAST is a Flexible Architecture Simulation Tool. FAST was designed as a framework for fast processor simulation. Its modular design allows for the easy addition of timing and statistics modules. The current release only supports the execution of DLX assembly programs. Features: Fast execution Supports the simulation of muliproccessor programs via: fork(), join(), barrier(bar_num,num_bars),shared memory using shared global variables A monitor mode for debugging DLX programs Dynamic instruction count statistics A cycle level timing module
