SoftModeler/Business SoftModeler/Business, is an enterprise Java modeling tool for business software developers. The tool supports a graphical model-driven approach of developing component-based 3-tier applications. SoftModeler is strongly tied to the following industry standards: Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a modeling language, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) and JavaBeans as component frameworks, and CORBA and RMI as the distribution glue. SoftModeler/Business supports team-work, and has many advanced features such as seamless Java code generation and reverse engineering, including that of EJB and JavaBeans components, and simulation of dynamic models. SoftModeler/Business supports the full Java development life-cycle while still eliminating much of the complexity involved in the UML. SoftModeler is platform independent since it is a 100% Java application itself.
