Much-esteemed members of the Forum!

Today, at the Moscow University, the prominent representatives of
educational community, State bodies, business and public organizations have
gathered.

We all understand the importance of education in modern life and we
feel the responsibility for the higher school future. That is why we have
decided to discuss the key issues of educational system development in the
new conditions.

What our education system should be to secure our countries'
prosperity within 10-15 years, to correspond completely to the needs of XXI
century human?

Everybody is interested in education development - the State as the
whole, different strata of society, different social groups and every
single human. At that, the tasks and priorities could differ substantially.
The task of those, who determine the educational police, especially the
professionals, is to consider all the factors relevant to the situation in
the education field, and change it to get the maximum return for a human,
society and the State.

The solidity and quality of education, knowledge and competence,
demand for our graduates at labor market now and in perspective, education
accessibility and talent's search, global and regional missions of
universities, autonomy and civil responsibility - all these eternal
university topics are especially vital nowadays. These topics will be
seriously discussed at our forum.
