Fundamental science and education play the priority role in forming
of innovative economy and intellect-based society. This predetermines the
further consolidation of efforts of scientific-educational community to
support the steady development of Russian State as a unique civilization,
to strengthen its scientific-educational and sociocultural potential, to
preserve its historical traditions.

Our joint efforts must be directed to mobilize intellectual
resources of educational system, its highly-developed communication
infrastructure and information technologies to develop science-based
branches of economy; to reach a higher level of personnel training
implementing the newest knowledge and hi-tech achievements; to develop
the system of selection, training and involvement of talented youth; to
cultivate the feeling of civil responsibility and personal involvement of
every young specialist into Russia's fortune.


We have to press more resolutely for bigger State participation in
education, for steady request of State, business and society for
intellectual resources, for development of fundamental and applied
studies, for increasing of humanitarian component in innovative progress.

We must work in even more active and unified way to create and
develop Russian education and Russian science!
