The short questionnaire below has been prepared by the Task Force for International Women in American Studies (appointed by the American Studies Association). In case you have already answered a longer questionnaire and expressed your interest in our directory, this will only ask you to confirm your facts and add a small summary of your research interests. If this is our first contact with you, this Task Force has been working since 1998 to put together a comprehensive directory of international women scholars who are based outside the U.S. and work with the United States in areas related to the humanities or social sciences. Please feel free to forward and/or Xerox this questionnaire to your colleagues who may also be interested. The idea is to help in the formation of networks and exchanges across our national borders. The directory will serve as an electronic data-base and will also be available in print in hard copy.
