'Alexander R. Luria
and psychology in the 21st century'
The 2nd International Conference in commemoration
of the centenary of Alexander R. Luria
Moscow 24-27
September 2002 |
This conference is organised by Moscow State University in cooperation with the Russian
Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Education, the Russian Psychological Society
and the International Neuropsychological Association.
The enormous international emphasis of the 1st Luria Memorial Conference
held in 1997 is one of the reasons for organising regular meetings of researches from all
over the world centred around Luria's ideas. The essential theme of the coming
conference: 'Alexander R. Luria and psychology in the 21st century'.
We hope the meeting of psychologists from Europe, America and Asia will enhance
scientific contacts between colleagues from different parts of the world and contribute to
the understanding of Luria's impact to psychology. Lectures, discussions, presentations
together with other scientific and professional events will stimulate intellectual
dialogue and offer researches from different backgrounds the opportunity to clarify their
positions within the international scientific community.
We look forward to seeing you in Moscow in September 2002.
