Financial Analyst

Job Purpose:
To support expense process, verify accounting entries, prepare end-of month and ad-hoc reports and concentrate on the expense side of the consumer business

Key Responsibilities:

• verification of accounting entries and expense reports;
• identifying and implementing process improvements;
• participation in the month end reporting process and preparation of ad-hoc reports requested by the management;
• providing commentary on actual v budget variances highlighting areas of concern for further investigation;
• participation in systems development and testing;
• participation in the analysis of the cost structure, work on the expense savings, unit costing and back office capacity.

Ideal candidate's profile:

• major in Mathematics/Statistics/Information technologies/Economics/Finance;
• accounting/financial experience with FMCG or Big 4 Companies is a plus;
• knowledge of retail-banking products and services is a plus
• advanced PC user (strong Excel and Access is a must);
• ability to handle multiple tasks, analytical mindset, ability to learn quickly;
• strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills;
• accuracy and attention to details, result orientation
