Repair work at the faculty

Repair work at the Physics Faculty during Summer time runs at full speed in order to finish most of it by the beginning of the semester. The faculty allocated some 4.5 miorbl for this purpose in its budget. In addition, the non-profit Fund "PARITET" for supporting culture, science, and education, donated to the faculty 1.5 miorbl. Among various items on the repair list it is worth to note the following: language labs, scientific department (room 2-48), methodological department (room 2-45), room 1-10 (chair of Low-Temperature Physics), room 5-67 (chair of Biophysics), Cocle-48, canteen in the cocle, complete rapair of the faculty's roof, front steps of the yard building, rapair of the Lebedev monument's cocle, cosmetic rapair of 12th teaching rooms, repair of the heat points at the faculty (preparation to the Winter). Besides that, the contracts are signed and the work started for replacement of the outer large doors at the front steps of the faculty, repair of the inner doors at the front entrance and construction of the tambour, installation of the heat protection and the mud box with a drainage system. There will be also rapaired 6th stands at the 2nd floor and two new stands have been ordered. Plus to that, new stands also ordered for the head of studies office.
