I can easily test ify that your book " . "" , " (Moscow, , 2006 .) was not the result of any plagiarism. It is the very contrary and to say the least quite an achievement in the Russia n academic landscape where inst itutions have been for so long a "black spot". I am using it on a regular basis for my teaching and with my Russian students. It is a very useful and scho larly written book tracing back the idea o f inst itutions to their origins. We can understand why this is not pleasing everyo ne. Inst itutions are at stake with the mainst ream in Economics. This is why the attention you paid to them was so important. This could also explain the vicious attack against you as so me "mainstream" econo mists have bee n unable to accept contradict ion and compet it ion.
