Registration For registration at the 14th International Meeting of the International Humic Substances Society (IHSS) please download the Registration Form, fill it in, and send to the Conference Secretariat by e-mail ihss@org.chem.msu.ru. Please indicate "registration" in the subject of your message.
Abstract Submission Please submit your abstract by e-mail ihss@org.chem.msu.ru indicating your preferred session topic and mode of presentation according to the guidelines given (Download "Template of Abstract"). The file name should be the name of the author (name.doc). Please submit the abstract by using MS-Word document format (*.doc). The maximum allowed file size is 2 MB. If you have any problems, please contact the Conference Secretariat. Please indicate "abstract" in the subject of your message. After submission you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject papers, and to assign them to oral or poster presentations. After the review process you will be informed about acceptance and presentation mode.
All fees should be paid in EURO (?) via bank wire transfer. Foreign participants are kindly asked to ensure that all bank fees are paid on their side. A confirmation letter will be sent to you well in advance of the conference, confirming your registration, booked events and your payment status. We regret, but we do not accept private and company checks or Euro cheques. PLEASE NOTE:

On the arrival day, the Conference Secretariat will be located at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Chemistry, room 429. The participants arriving from different destinations will be requested to come to the Department of Chemistry of the MSU. Two bus transfers from Sheremetyevo-2 airport to the MSU will be offered by the conference organizers. Detailed plans and maps how to get to the conference venue will be posted on the web.

Transfers to the airport Pulkovo or to train station to Moscow If you need a Visa Support please download this Form, fill it in, and send to the Conference Secretariat by e-mail ihss@org.chem.msu.ru. Please indicate "visa support" in the subject of your message. Data for visa will be submitted to "MTF Ltd." that will send you a fax message in Russian these two papers: "Confirmation of tourist group acceptance" and Tourist voucher. Please note that the above paper wil be send you VIA FAX. To get a visa, you need to get in touch with the Russian Consulate in your country to find out the details of your visa application. As a rule, to apply for a visa you need to send to the Russian Embassy your passport (NOT ID CARD!; passport should be valid for at least 6 months after your staying in Russia; visa will be inserted into the passport), the official invitation ("Confirmation of tourist group acceptance" and Tourist voucher), the filled in questionnaire forms (can be downloaded from the website of the Russian Embassy), and 2-3 recent pictures (format is specified by the Russian Embassy). They will also charge you for issuing one-entry tourist visa. To assist you in completing questionnaire of Russian Embassy, please, find below itemized list of necessary information. This information is given on your "CONFIRMATION of tourist group acceptance", which you get per Fax from our tour-operator "MTF" Ltd, but unfortunately, it is in Russian.
