We would like to inform about the forthcoming Baltic Management Research Academy (BMRA) seminar organized by ISM University of Management and Economics BMRA seminar will be held on the following topic lead by the expert in the area: USING CASES AS AN INTERACTIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING METHOD / TREVOR WILLIAMSON Dates: Vilnius, 18-19 October, 2010
The intense two-day seminar is designed for teachers interested in discussion based teaching methods. During the seminar the participants will get overview of case method and improve the skills in preparation for teaching with case, leading case discussions, assessing classroom contribution and program design. Seminar involves various exercises, group discussions, case teaching practice sessions and other opportunities leading to learning experience enhancement. Early bird registration until: 13 September Registration until: 30 September Trevor Williamson is a Principal Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, UK, where he oversees development of programmes in the financial services/ planning area at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Trevor has been writing and teaching with cases for over ten years and has been an ecch (European Case Clearing House) tutor since 1999. He was a participant in the International Teachers Programme at London Business School, UK and recipient of a Philip Law case writing scholarship from ecch.

The priority is given to doctoral students from Belorussia, Russia and Ukraine.
