THE LJUBLJANA SUMMER SCHOOL 2006
June, 26 – July, 14
THE LJUBLJANA SUMMER SCHOOL 2006 is a new intensive programme open to both undergraduate and graduate students of Business, Economics, and other fields of Social Sciences. The programme was created at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana in order to impart knowledge by taking full advantage of our country’s unique geographical position: the meeting point of East and West.
The programme is an interesting and inspiring mixture of lectures, company visits, workshops targeted to improve specific skills, in-class discussions and presentations. Through this you will gain knowledge about the specifics of transitional economies and different aspects of doing business internationally. The Summer School’s aim is to learn by applying knowledge to real-life situations. Therefore, you will be working on a project about the internationalisation of a company through foreign direct investment in which all aspects covered in selected courses will be integrated.
