In conditions of standardization of the general education when the Standard entered into practice is inverted to the graduate of school, there is an opportunity of consolidating the present order of studying geometry at the basic school: the course begins in the seventh grade with axiomatic construction of Planimentry without preparation of logic and special thinking of the child for his perception. Therefore it is obviously necessary to provide a certain obliga-tory level of knowledge and development of the students starting studying a regular course of geometry. It is possible to make it having allocated in the educational Standard an age step of learning ? 5-6th grades. This article is devoted to this problem, it deals with the main princi-ples of development of the standard of geometrical preparation of learners of 5-6th grades.
