25.09.2014 On September 08-12, 2014 the Faculty of Journalism, MSU welcomed Professor Alexander V. Laskin (Department of Public Relations, Quinnipiac University, USA) with a series of guest lectures.

Alexander V. Laskin, Ph.D., is an associate professor and director of graduate studies at the Department of Public Relations, Quinnipiac University . Dr. Laskin’s research, published in Journal of Public Relations Research , Public Relations Review , Journal of Business Communication and so on, focuses primarily on investor relations, measurement and evaluation, international communications, and new media. Dr. Laskin also contributed multiple book chapters and published two solo-authored books.

During his visit Professor Laskin gave three lectures: two of them were in Russian and one lecture in a master course "Current Issues of Mass Media" was in English. Professor Laskin also met faculty administration and discussed possible educational and research collaboration between Faculty of Journalism, MSU and Quinnipiac University.
