For many years the Faculty of Geology of MSU has collaborated with the China University of Geosciences basing on Agreement on joint training of students. Within the program professors of Faculty of Geology of MSU and China University of Geosciences (Wuhang and Beijing) each year exchange visits to give presentations, attract new students and discuss further cooperation. Every year, in September, 10 to 15 of the best third-year students from the China University of Geosciences enter the Faculty of Geology of MSU. They study Russian during their first year and afterwards they start their two-year education in the field of geology. Having obtained their bachelor degree they get a standard Russian diploma that is acceptable everywhere over the world. Many students continue their study to obtain the master degree and PhD degree in Geology.

During their education Chinese students stay in single rooms of a comfortable dormitory of the MSU Central Building. They have an opportunity to work fruitfully and to rest well. The students have an access to well equipped laboratories, computer classes, libraries and reading halls, student cafes, sport facilities and swimming pools, and clinics.
