The majority of students who study Russian, face such a problem that studying the language comes to an end after they leave the classroom; by virtue of various factors many have no opportunity to use and fasten their knowledge received during the lessons, vocabulary and grammar thus long time remain passive.

A highly effective means of fastening knowledge for a great number of our learners became the Students Drama School of CIE which proved a fascinating and effective form of out-of-class activities.

The regular Drama School on the basis of CIE opened in 2004–2005 academic year; and it functions as an elective course. It targets students of intermediate and advanced levels.
