Provide technical support to Dow Plastics customers (Polyethylene, Polystyrene, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, ABS plastic, SAN plastic, etc.)
Develop knowledge of Dow Plastics products and applications
Keep track of Dow technical projects and developments as well as competitive products and competitive technical information and be well aware of technical innovations in Plastics worldwide
Provide full range of informational support to customers; solve technical problems at/with customers
Drive the launch and design of new products
Place exciting products at new applications and customers
Technical contributions include product recommendations, trouble-shooting, and fabrication technology expertise
Organize and attend customer seminars, technical meetings, trade shows and presentations
Work in close cooperation with Dow technical specialists
Utilize Six Sigma Methodology
Qualification:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related field
Experience in plastic fabrication and products with active customer interaction
Broad knowledge of plastic fabrication and polymer science is a plus (experience on films extrusion)
Fluency in English
Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology
Experienced PC user
Ability to spend 30% of working time on business trips
Initiative, Market Focus, ready to work in a team
