Our client -a leading chemical company is looking for Technical Support & Development Specialist (Plastics)
Requirements:
-Provide technical support to Plastics customers (Polyethylene, Polystyrene, Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, ABS plastic, SAN plastic, etc.)
-Develop knowledge Plastics products and applications
-Keep track technical projects and developments as well as competitive products and competitive technical information and be well aware of technical innovations in Plastics worldwide
-Provide full range of informational support to customers; solve technical problems at/with customers
-Drive the launch and design of new products
-Place exciting products at new applications and customers
-Technical contributions include product recommendations, trouble-shooting, and fabrication technology expertise.
-Organize and attend customer seminars, technical meetings, trade shows and presentations
Responsibilities:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related field.
Experience in plastic fabrication and products with active customer interaction.
Broad knowledge of plastic fabrication and polymer science is a plus (experience on films extrusion).
Upper-intermediate /fluent English
Ability to spend 30% of working time on business trips
