Abstracts of 9th Int. Symp. on Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy (RIS'98, England, June 21-25, 1998 ).
Abstract. The experimental results indicate that production of nanoparticles under laser evaporation of graphite and probably other materials at the laser power density above correspondent threshold value of labile state appearance is an unavoidable factor. On the other hand the proposed optoacoustic procedure for detection of spinodal decay of laser-induced labile state of matter allows to control conditions of laser microprobe sampling to increase the atomic fraction of evaporated substance which is very important for atomic analytical spectroscopy.
