Research
interests are mainly focused on study of
stress-induced regulation of primary photosynthetic processes. They include
studies:
a) effects of sulfur/nitrogen deprivation stress on primary
photosynthetic reactions
b) high-resolved
light-induced kinetics of chlorophyll a fluorescence (OJIP) with respect
to their analysis and application
c) H2
production by green algae and unicellular cyanobacteria
d) application of fluorescence methods for estimation photosynthetic
capacity of phytoplankton in situ;
e) artificial photosynthesis
Methods:
Fluorometers: PAM, PEA, FRR. Picosecond
fluorescence. Microfluorometry. Imaging fluorescence. Delayed
Light Emission. Low and high temperature thermoluminescence.
