In the article are examined the main factors and agents of political socialization of youth. There was singled out the leading agents and factors in the modernization of the political system of the Russian Federation at the present stage. Noted that there increases the role and significance of such agents of political socialization, as the media, above all, the Internet ­ social networks, forums. Indicated on the need and opportunity to reinforce the value of youth movements which, if properly organized can be a reliable basis of the process of political socialization.
