In this article the problem how to keep the Russian culture and Russian civilization is discussed through the prism of such key conceptions as safety, spirituality and the confrontation of different civilizations. On the author's opinion, the spirituality, being the basic value, always have being taking a significant place in Russian civilization formation and strengthening; and cultural traditions, Russian orthodoxy, social and religious art, and creativity were the main existence forms and way of originality keeping. However, present day reality makes the topside not only the common values, but the problem of safety and keeping for concrete real living people, groups, and communities as well, regardless on their political, economical and national differences.
