The article is devoted to analysis of sociological conceptions of fashion in studies of classics of sociology such as H. Spenser, G. Tarde, H. Simmel. The article provides an interpretive overview of groundbreaking writings of five theorists whose work has profoundly influenced the conceptual and theoretical basis of contemporary understanding of fashion system.
