For the sake of correct formulation of two main (practical and theoretical) problems which social science faces now, we must ask two questions and give an honest answer to them. First, because «knowledge is secondary to life does sociology fall in the category of theories... that justify... core values and the realities of modern European civilization»? And second: Is progress really a dead-end branch of the European spirit? By answering these questions, the author argues that one can only put forward a new idea if he relies on the spiritual tradition, which gives the highest metaphysics goals.
