dear all

we are currently preparing the SW provisioning of UMD2 that will contain 
EMI2 products as well as possibly some IGE products.
presently we are missing Early Adopters for some products. Since EMI has 
released in SL5 and SL6 (ARC and UNICORE also in Debian6)
if possible we would like to have EAs for both OSs.

to help sites decide and evaluate, I attach a list of EMI products that 
contain the following for the >>SL5 OS<<
the product, the version currently in production in EMI1 and/or UMD1, 
the version released in EMI2, comment, and last the product missing EA 
for 1 or the 2 OSs

the "green" rows are products that have been released in EMI1 and UMD1, 
where no version change in EMI2
the "white" rows are products that have a minor or revision update 
between EMI1 and EMI2, are backward compatible, support just the update 
of the service
and no need for re-installation of the machines.

the "grey" rows are major updates, though EMI2 release notes state that 
update from the EMI1 products are supported.

the "orange" ones are products that, are new in EMI2, or where not 
included in EMI1 or not yet released in EMI2

as such we ask sites and NGIs that interested in testing and deploying 
any of these new services to notify me:
EMIR the EMI service registry
EMI-Nagios probes
Pseudonimity - is meant for providing its users a way to hide their true 
identity behind a pseudonymous identity
Wnodes - WN on demand

For arc and unicore, we have EAs ready for several or all OSs.

Regarding IGE, most products are covered by EAs, but there are 2 where 
we have none
Gridsam - job submission interface
OGSA-DAI - for distributed data access and management
