QED processes

The interaction of charged particles with electromagnetic field is described by quantum electrodynamics, the simplest part of the Standard Model. In spite of its simplicity QED plays an important role in elementary particle physics. In this section we discuss some important QED effects and derive some of the famous classical results. We will also learn to use many of the options of the CompHEP package to carry out these calculations.
