С.М.Коротаев

Serguei Maratovich Korotaev, doctor of physics and mathematics, head of the Lab of Marine Electromagnetic Research of Geolectromagnetic Research Institute RAS, professor of the Physics Chair of Bauman Moscow State Technical University. He was born in 02.18.1950, in 1972 he graduated from Oceanological Faculty of Leningrad Hydrometeorological Institute with honours. In 1972-1974 he was on military service. In 1974-1990 he worked at Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism, Ionosphere and Radio Wave Propagation, Academy of Sciences of the USSR (post-graduate-senior researcher). From 1990 he works at Geoelectromagnetic Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences (leading researcher - head of the lab). He dealt with study of electromagnetic field of the ocean, informational-statistical methods of analysis of the physical experiment and causal mechanics. He was engaged in the theory and experiment equally. Many times he led marine expeditions. Besides scientific activity, he took part in becoming of anticommunist and liberal movement in Russiania.

S.M. Korotaev was interested in problem of time in student years yet by impression of N.A. Kozyrev's speeches, and from 1973 he began independent research on application of causal mechanics in geophysics. On this ground he got acquainted with N.A. Kozyrev in person. In the next years S.M. Korotaev regularly met with N.A.Kozyrev, observed his experiments and discussed with him the problems of causal mechanics and nature of time. Just it had played determined role in forming of S.M. Korotaev's scientific world outlook. In 1970th S.M. Korotaev jointly with G.V. Rozhkovsky had performed the experiments on study of some psychophysical effects by means of Kozyrev type apparatus. The results proved to be quite positive to consider further experiments of such kind highly perspective. But so far as causal mechanics itself was still extremely weakly developed, it became clear, that in spite of the positive results in applications, it was necessary to study causal mechanics itself, beginning with its points of departure. The lasts were concretion of causality, axioms of causal mechanics, idea of course of time and so on. As a result these points had been turned out well to translate from intuitive into perfectly formal language. In it turn the method of causal analysis elaborated by S.M. Korotaev, came into being from that, which got quite a number of practical applications outside of causal mechanics (analysis of complicated in order to choice between the - physical systems as measure of their unclosety, etc).

In 1990th S.M. Korotaev has been studying probably, the most interesting effect of causal mechanics - transaction of the processes through the active properties of time. He put forward the idea that transaction is equivalent to macroscopic nonlocality of the dissipative processes. For verification of this idea the experimental setup had been constructed, and series of the experiments carried out. Their results have confirmed N.A. Kozyrev's results, firstly, on the modern level of rigorous of the experiment and, secondly, in more precise theoretical performance. It has raised study of phenomenon of macroscopic nonlocality in central place of the subject.
