Closeout of the educational project ?Literary Evenings?

11 December, 2015 as part of the Year of Literature in the Russian Federation, the final online video-conference was held in Shuvalov facility building of MSU, the lecture ?Probation by realism? by a contemporary writer, novelist, playwright and poet, the chief editor of “Literary newspaper” Yury Mikhaylovich Polyakov, the author of the novels ?One hundred days before the order,? ?Emergency of regional scale?, ?Goat in milk?, ?Mushroom King? and ?Plaster trumpeter.?

Before the start of the lecture the introduction was delivered by Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University V.A. Sadovnichy, who initiated the educational project “Literary Evening” that was held with a great success throughout the year. Leading experts prelected a series of lectures on Russian and foreign literature of different eras in online environment. MSU Rector reminded the audience that seven video-lectures were held in total, which were attended by more than 70 educational institutions of Russia.

14 universities were simultaneously connected online to the broadcast of the lecture of the chief editor of “Literary newspaper” Yu.M. Polyakov: Penza State University, Kazakhstan Campus Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of socio-educational technologies and resources, Faculty of Philology of Voronezh State University, North-Caucasian State Humanitarian-Technological Academy, Volga Orthodox Institute, BSPU of M. Akmulla, the Campus branch of Moscow State University in Dushanbe, the Campus branch of Moscow State University in Baku, the Campus branch of Moscow State University in Sevastopol, Kalmyk State University, the Kabardino-Balkarian State University of Berkov, Kursk State University, Kazan State University and Mari State University.

It is to be recalled that during the Year of Literature Moscow State University and “Literary Newspaper” implemented a joint cultural project “World Literature: a view from the XXI century”, which resulted in the publication of the 9 articles of scientists of Moscow State University. The authors of articles, the lecturers of the Faculty of Philology, offered the modern interpretation of a wide range of phenomena in literary processes of the past and the present. The topic has been addressed primarily to teachers of literature and high school teachers, as well as undergraduates and graduate students, representatives of creative professions, and everyone who loves literature. In addition, a creative competition “literary debut” was held, which brought together schoolchildren of 6-11 grades from 40 regions of the Russian Federation. There also was the All-Russian Universiade in literature, which was attended by about 500 students from different universities of the country. Finally, the revival of the “Society of Lovers of Russian Literature” has begun.
