EXPERIMENTAL REQIREMENTS FOR THE CLAS12 SILICON VERTEX TRACKER Preprint MSU SINP 2011-6/870

Abstract

The silicon vertex tracker is a key element of the detector complex upgrade for the CLAS12 experiment in Jefferson Lab Hall B. This paper describes the design of the tracker, summarizes the requirements concerning acceptance, spatial resolution and performance.
