Serine/threonine protein kinases

Development of inhibitors of human and Mycobacteium tuberculosis serine/threonine protein kinases as promising agents for treatment of various diseases, from type II diabetes to Alzheimer's disease

Protein kinases are enzymes playing a key role in many therapeutically significant signal pathways. Their inhibition is a promising strategy to fight various diseases, from type II diabetes to Alzheimer's disease.

We have developed ATP-competitive inhibitors of human GSK-3 kinase and Mycobacteium tuberculosis PknB kinase that are currently in preparation to preclinical studies.
