Installation a new intranet faculty's backbone has been started

Installation of a new intranet backbone with up to 1 Gb/s transfer capacity has been started at the faculty. It is planned that the backbone will be installed in the future in all sections of the main building of the Physics Faculty. At the moment, the installation takes place at the 2nd floor of the faculty's building. This project is targeted at the complete renovation of the faculty's backbone and the intranet infrastructure, switching into a modern hardware, raising the intranet capacity, fidelity and improving its functionality.
