Highlightening the Subfamily to which belongs the N-end Domain of DNA Gyrase B in E.coli
Histidine Kinase-, DNA Gyrase- i HSP90- like ATPase (HATPase)
This family represents structural related ATP domains of HistidineKinase, DNA Gyrase and HDP90. It forms structural complexes with other families present in the Pfam data base. The family is found in several ATP binding proteins, as histidine kinase, DNA gyrase B, topoisomerases, heat shock protein HSP90, phytochrome-like ATPases and DNA mismatch repair proteins.
Table2. Distribution of the Domain HATPase in different Taxons
Totally 8252 proteins containing the domain HATPase C are known. This domain is most frequently found in multipledomain proteins. Analyzing the results of the results leads to the conclusion that the domain does not exist as a singledomain protein. There are 8 known domain architectures (21 different proteins [see *]) were the domain is duplicated.
