Russian Supercomputing Days: Together to be Stronger

In mellow autumn time Moscow cordially invites HPC specialists to take part in Russian Supercomputing Days, the brand new international supercomputing conference that unites several traditional Russian and international HPC events. The conference dates are September 28-29, 2015.

Russian Supercomputing Days caters to the interests of a wide range of target areas where HPC has become a part and parcel: science, industry, business, education, government, and so on. It promises to be useful both for students and specialists тАУ for everyone who is in touch with development, implementation or applying of supercomputing technologies. The conference topics cover all aspects of hot HPC questions: software and hardware design, solving large problems, using of supercomputing technologies in industry, exaflops computing issues, supercomputing education, and many others. The list of invited speakers already includes such well known members of HPC community as Jack Dongarra, Satoshi Matsuoka, Mateo Valero, Yutong Lu and William Gropp.

The conference accepts research papers that have not previously been published and have not been presented for consideration to other conferences, journals or other print media. Three types of works are accepted for the conference: full paper, short paper and poster abstract. A full paper is up to 12 pages long and presents the results of a completed research. A short paper is up to 6 pages long and presents tentative results obtained during the research in progress. A poster abstract is up to one A4 page long and can contain information on the plans and initial results of a research that has recently started. Papers important dates are:
- June 1 - abstract submission;
- June 15 - paper submission;
- July 15 - author notification;
- July 30 - camera ready submission.

All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference that will be available prior to the opening date. Conference proceedings will be published in electronic form. The proceedings will be published on the conference web site after the conference as well. The best papers in English will be published in the Journal "Supercomputing Frontiers and Innovations" (http://superfri.org/superfri).

A range of workshops is scheduled as part of the conference. Preparations are underway for the following topics of workshops:
- Quantum Computing;
- Systems Administration of Supercomputers;
- Network computing & Supercomputing;
- Supercomputing Education.

In addition to the technical program an exhibition will be organized featuring the newest hardware and software solutions for high performance computing.

The official languages of the conference are Russian and English provided with simultaneous interpretation of keynotes and talks at the plenary section.
