Mouse Tracking

Video tracking for laboratory rodents

We have developed a video tracking system for behavioral analysis of laboratory rodents. Our system allows on-line and off-line tracking. For tracking we propose a new algorithm based on shape models. Shape parameters are estimated by branch-and-bound optimization in each frame independently, which guarantees robustness. Resulting tracks and other experiment data are stored in database. In an analysis module a large number of track metrics is implemented for individual and group comparison.
