APPLICATION AND ADMISSION
Duration: 4 years (Bachelor?s Degree), 2 years (Master?s Degree)љ
Mode of study: full-time, contractual
Currently, international students make 10% of SWP student community. They come from China, South Korea, Belgium, Germany, the USA, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other countries.
International students enjoy both a regular curriculum and an in-depth study of the Russian Language, Russian Culture and History of Russia. They take focused modules in a core subject area chosen. International students are encouraged to undertake research in and write term papers on different aspects of bilateral cooperation between Russia and their home countries.
International students get a free access to Lomonosov Moscow State University library.
International students are welcomed to take part in extracurricular activities: scientific conferences and cultural projects carried out at SWP.
Those who feel they may need to undertake pre-sessional courses, are encouraged to join relevant programmes designed by Institute of Russian Language and Culture.

Examination dates: July 11 ? 20, 2015 (exact dates to be announced later)
Applicants, who complete the programmes of Institute of Russian Language and Culture, are to pass examinations before 1 July, 2015 (exact dates to be announced later).
International students can get enrolled after they successfully pass the entrance examinations and meet all entrance requirements (please see information below). To secure their places international students have to sign an enrollment agreement and submit the payment confirmation.
Bachelor?s Degree programme entry requirements:
- an application form (to submit on application)
- the original of Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent), enlisting the qualifications obtained, subjects studied and grades received
- the original of the attachment to the Certificate
- a certified Russian translation ofљ both the original of Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) and its attachment. The translation can be certified by a notary in Russia or Russia?s Embassy/Consulate in a home country
- a medical reference
- an AIDS check medical report by Polyclinic of Lomonosov Moscow State University
- a certified copy of ID/passport (the original of ID/passport is to be produced on application)
- a copy of the immigration card
- a copy of the visa
- 6 photos (3Х4, black and white, matte)
Master?s Degree programme entry requirements:
- the original of Secondary School Certificate and Bachelor?s Degree diploma or (equivalent), enlisting qualifications obtained, subjects studied and grades received
- a certified Russian translation ofљ all education documents and their attachments
- a standardized Certificate of Russian (unless Russian is included in the previousљ curriculum)
- a standardized medical reference, allowing to undertake a study programme in Russia (to be certified in Polyclinic #202 of Lomonosov Moscow State University)
- an AIDS check medical report valid on the territory of Russia
- a certified copy of ID/passport (the original of ID/passport is to be produced on application)
- a copy of љthe immigration card
- a copy of the visa
- 6 photos (3Х4, black and white, matte)

Visa support
International students are allowed to take entrance examinations on a tourist visa. After passing examinations successfully and signing an enrollment agreement, an applicant needs to get back to љhome country to apply for a study visa.
The visa is prolonged as soon as the next programme payment is cleared by SWP.
According to the RF Law, an international student should get registered with the Immigration Office within 7 days after arrival in the country. To do this, all international students are requested to room 559 on their arrival.
