School of Young Specialist at International Relations and preparatory courses of the Faculty of Global Studies are running.
\The Faculty of Global Studies invites pupils of 9-10 grades to the School of Young Specialist at International Relations.
The School of Young Specialist at International Relations is: the first acquaintance of pupils with Moscow University, its glorious history, deep traditions, academic spirit; introduction to a new, perspective specialization “International Relations”; meeting with the leading teachers of the Faculty, experts in the field of international relations and global studies, world politics, the global economy and geopolitics; perspective to plunge into the life of the faculty and join to the student fun and excitement life; opportunity to feel like yourself in a new specialty and get professional advice. In the autumn semester classes at the School of Young Specialist at International Relations will be held once a week in the form of lectures on geography, the basics of diplomacy and international relations, as well as practical training in English. Classes will begin in October. For pupils of 11th grade and persons with a secondary education the Faculty of Global Studies organizes eight-month training courses on preparing for the exam, competitions and the entrance examination to the Faculty on the following subjects: Russian language, foreign language (English), history. Optionally the Faculty gives the possibility of preparing for the exam in mathematics and social studies. Starting dates – October 1st.
Training on the preparatory courses is conducted by highly qualified teachers of the Faculty of Global Studies, Historical Faculty, Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Regional Studies of MSU. Periodically conducting examinations and tests, held by the Moscow University, that are as close as possible to the format and requirements of USE, competitions and entrance examinations, allow students to estimate their strength and knowledge. Those who wish to enroll must provide for the contract: 1) two matte photos 3 * 4; 2) photocopy of passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation (pages 2-5). The courses are paid. Listeners, who are visited a full training program, is given a certificate of completion. Regular classes are held three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday evening from 16:30 to 20:00 Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 or 15:00 and 18:00) in the classrooms of the 1 humanitarian corps MSU. Training groups are formed according to the level of knowledge of students shown in testing. Registration for courses is going on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12.00 to 18.00, room 1116, the 1 humanitarian corps, Building 51.
