The Center of innovative educational technologies

The Center has been operating in the Moscow State University since 2008.

March 2, 2009 the Center was included as a structural unit to the Faculty of Global Studies by the order of the Dean of the Faculty of Moscow State University Ilya Ilyin. Zemcov was appointed as the head of the Center.

Since 2011 the Center has been operating on a university-wide level.

The main objectives of the Center are:

- Improving the professional competence of students by introducing innovative technologies in the educational process;

- Development and integration monitoring systems of professional competence and its development in the educational process;

- Development of innovative activities and cooperation with scientific and educational institutions, foundations and other structures to jointly solve urgent scientific and educational tasks.

Specialists of CIET participate in congresses and conferences on new educational technologies and their integration into the system of higher education. For postgraduates and young scientists interested in an integrated approach to the development, integration and systematization of innovative educational technologies in higher education, the inter-faculty seminar “New Technologies in Education” is held with CIET. The seminar was attended by students, postgraduate students and professors of the Department of Philosophy of Education (Faculty of Philosophy), Department of Social Psychology (Faculty of Psychology), Faculty of pedagogical education of Moscow State University.

CIET carries out its activity in cooperation with other organizations, that have a goal to upgrade the national education, for example:

- Educational and scientific association “Liberal education” (Director Doctor of Philosophy, Academician Kupzov);

- Research Institute of innovative strategies for the development of general education at the Moscow Department of Education (Head Doctor of Political Sciences, Academician Gromyko);

- Science Park of Moscow State University (Director Movsesian);

Etc.

The results of the Center are presented in a series of articles, which can be found in the column Publications.

The Center regularly conducts educational events with the use of active learning techniques. Among them are two projects developed under the auspices of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS member states:

- the project “The Future of the CIS: a view of youth”, held at the XVI International Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Lomonosov”;

- the project “CIS: common innovation space”, held at the XVII Conference “Lomonosov”.
